221. Sowing the Seeds & Inspiring Others Without Knowing It: Zounds, a Crumpet!
Oct 26, 2026Have you ever put something out into the world and wondered if anyone even noticed? What if it mattered more than you realised, even if you never found out?
In this episode, a mysterious hedgehog, a royal invitation and a 30-year search for a crumpet-collecting computer game lead to a surprisingly powerful reminder: the seeds we sow today can bloom years later.
We explore why a lack of likes, comments or immediate results doesn’t mean your efforts are pointless, how you might be inspiring people without knowing it, and why it’s worth continuing to share, create and encourage others.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
- Why you can’t always see the impact of what you put into the world
- How a childhood computer game mystery was finally solved after decades
- Why a lack of immediate feedback doesn’t mean nobody cares
- How your posts, stories and encouragement can inspire others quietly
- Why small acts of kindness can create unexpected ripple effects
- How to balance patience with making changes when something isn’t working
- Why it’s worth continuing to show up, even when you feel like you’re talking into the ether
